Large Construction Job? 3 Types Of Portable Toilets You Can Choose

Posted on: 16 July 2019

If you have a large construction job and have employees that work for you, you need to ensure all employees stay comfortable. One way you can do this is to have portable toilets on the construction site in different areas. This will allow employees to have a shorter walking distance to the toilet. There are a variety of portable toilets available to you, three of which are listed below.

Green Portable Toilets

If you want to be more eco-friendly, you will find there are green portable toilets available to rent. Some of these toilets also use less water when compared to other types.

There is the compost green portable toilet. This toilet works by composting and then dehydrating solid waste. It does this by using very little water. There are also green portable toilets that separate urine from solid waste. Urine can be used as a plant fertilizer that is rich in nutrients.

There is also the incinerating green portable toilet. When you close the lid on this toilet, an incinerator turns on and burns the waste. When you open the lid, the incinerator turns off. You do not have to use any water at all with this green toilet and you will not have to worry about odors.

Standard Portable Toilets

Standard portable toilets are commonly seen on construction sites. They are single units and do not flush and do not have a sink. The door locks securely, however. These toilets are often used for short-term purposes, which works well for construction sites.

Standard portable toilets are the least expensive portable toilets you can purchase. The rental company that you rent the toilets from will empty them and then clean each unit on your construction site on a regular basis.

You can choose to add more features to these toilets, such as adding mirrors, having hand sanitizer available, and adding lighting.

Deluxe Flushable Portable Toilets

If you want to have something a little more than the standard toilets, you can choose portable toilets that are flushable. These portable toilets look much like the standard toilets, but they are much larger. Because of this, you should remember to take into consideration how much space you have on your construction site for the amount of toilets that you need to purchase. In most cases, these toilets also have a place to wash hands, mirrors, and lighting.

Irrigation Implementation: An Overview

When I decided to install an irrigation system in my yard, I thought it would be an easy project. I had no idea how much was really involved in the process, from connecting the sprinkler system to the main plumbing line all the way to burying the individual lines for the sprinkler heads. After researching the entire process and learning as I went, I created this site to give others the benefit of my experience. I hope that the information here helps you be better prepared for what you can expect out of your irrigation system installation, including knowing when it's time to turn to a plumber for help.
